When People will Listen to You

One day I was thinking and this question came to my mind. There are many reasons so that people will listen to you and pay attention to your words. You can’t bind them to listen to you.

Firstly, when you are holding a reputed position or having power. 

For example, we have to listen to our managers, leaders and seniors. They are having higher positions. It happens rarely when we can ignore them.

Another example, we have to follow rules. Sometimes decisions are not in favour of a layman. Some persons were supporting currency demonetization. Some persons were not ready to accept. It is decided by our government. Our Leader is in a high position. Everyone has to follow rules.

Secondly, when we win the confidence of others then people listen to us. In daily life, we see many examples.

I feel, one of my friends is a good example. I have seen many times. His near and dear ones, relatives, friends, managers listen to him. Because somewhere he has won the confidence of them.

When we win the confidence of family members then they listen to us.

You can win the confidence of others by your deeds and actions.

Thirdly, when you are having an emotional attachment with a person. 

For example, we listen to our parents and they listen to us. We are having an emotional attachment to each other. We understand and respect feelings.

Fourthly, when you have done some sacrifices for a person.

For example, Parents do sacrifices for their children. Children understand the sacrifices of them. They respect and listen to them. Sometimes they don’t agree with their statement that is due to generation gap. I personally feel sacrifices play important role in life. It can be anything whether sacrifices of things, sacrifice done by husband for his wife, sacrifice done by a wife for his husband, sacrifice towards the family. People value your sacrifices. By doing this, you can win their heart.

Conclusion, if you want to get people listen to you then you must be having great power, great position, emotional attachment or you have done some sacrifices.

But it doesn’t mean you are chasing it like anything. There is no need to prove anyone, just do work in a correct way. By the time, you will acquire. :)
